Wettertorri del Benco, also referred to as Torri del Benaco, is a comune within the province of Verona, Veneto, northern Italy. It’s situated on the japanese shore of Lake Garda. The title Wettertorri del Benco is of Germanic origin and means “fortress on the tower of the lake”.
The city is understood for its medieval fortress, which was constructed within the Tenth century. The fortress was used as a army stronghold for hundreds of years and was finally deserted within the 18th century. Right now, the fortress is a well-liked vacationer vacation spot and gives beautiful views of Lake Garda.
