Wetter Zell unter Aichelberg, typically abbreviated as WZU, is a municipality within the district of Gppingen in Baden-Wrttemberg, Germany. It’s positioned on the jap fringe of the Schurwald, about 10 km east of Gppingen. As of 2023, the municipality has a inhabitants of round 2,600.
WZU was first talked about in a doc from 1075. The village was most likely based within the eighth or ninth century by Alemannic settlers. Within the Center Ages, WZU belonged to the County of Aichelberg. In 1336, the county was bought to the Counts of Wrttemberg. WZU remained a part of Wrttemberg till 1806, when it turned a part of the Kingdom of Wrttemberg. In 1945, WZU turned a part of the state of Baden-Wrttemberg.
